Happy Friday! It has been a lovely relaxing week here. I hope your week has been wonderful as well.
This is such a pretty little mushroom. It looks like it was very carefully toasted on top, like the perfect marshmallow roasted over a fire.

Happy Friday! Today has been a bit frustrating for me. I almost forgot to post a fungus photo today.
These two guys were really enjoying the damp weather. They were covered in water droplets.

I don’t normally do a Wordless Wednesday post, but I thought I’d do it today.
I don’t seem to be very good at the wordless part. The ice crystals in the garden where huge this morning. It is so beautiful.

Hello, we have had a lot of snow(for us anyway) here at Woodland Whimsy. I don’t think that dragons appreciate the cold the way goblins do.
I made Milo go out into the snow to take photos for his adoptive mom. He was not pleased about that at all. Milo is in luck though. He will be headed to sunny Florida today. He was thrilled to hear that it was over 80 degrees where he is going. I am glad to have a happy dragon on his way to a wonderful, warm, new home.

Happy Friday! I hope it is warmer (but not too warm) where you are than it is here. It was 8 degrees Fahrenheit here this morning. That is COLD. There sure aren’t any mushrooms out and about here right now.
This is one of my favorite mushrooms photos. It was taken on a lovely, dampish day. It was around 60 degrees out with a drizzle of rain now and then. We had a perfectly lovely hike that day.

It snowed and snowed at Woodland Whimsy yesterday. The goblins wanted to go out, but I told them they had to wait until today, when it was not actually snowing. They were asking to go out first thing in the morning. It wasn’t even light out yet. It was also 14 degrees. I told them we could go out when it was 25 degrees outside. They were so happy when we reached the designated temperature at about noon. Goblins don’t get cold, but I do. I put on my cold weather clothes and out we went.
Robyn and Ricky were so happy to be out in the snow.
Myron made a snowball right away. I was afraid that he was up to no good.
I was right. Myron hit Fred right on top of his head with the snowball.
Robyn and Ricky started to build a snowman. At least some of the goblins were playing nicely together.
Fred climbed up a twig to get away from Myron and his snowballs. I wondered if that would actually keep him safe.
“Look, look! We finished out snowman! Hurry, take a picture of us!” Both Robyn and Ricky were so excited to have made their snowman. He even had a face and arms. They did a great job.
Poor Fred was not safe. Myron hit him with a snowball and knocked him out of his shrub. I told the goblins that that was enough. It was time to brush the snow off and go in the house for a nice cup of cocoa.

Happy Monday! Christmas on Main was a fun event. Sadly, I totally forgot my camera so I don’t have photos of all the wonderful things that were there. It was a small show, but very busy in the morning slowing down in the late afternoon. I had a good day. I’ll be in Meadow Vista at the Beda Place’s Christmas Fair on Sunday, Dec. 8. I’ll put the flyer at the bottom of this post.
I have finished a few things over the last week as well as starting some new ones. I hope you enjoy the photos.
Myron is my smallest goblin baby ever. He is just barely two inches tall at the tippy top of his ear.
More Mice! I finished eight mice this week. (One of them is not in the photo as I sold it before I got pictures taken)
Bartholomew, the original boggling, sailed off to his new home some months ago. A new boggling is coming to Woodland Whimsy.
I hope you all have a wonderful Monday!
