Happy Monday! I hope that you all had a fun Halloween. Here at Woodland Whimsy, we were over run by barbarians.
Here they are waiting for Nana.
They are ready to go and plunder the neighborhood.
The boys had a great time. They spent all day Sunday asking for costumes and to go “Tweet or treating”. I hope that your day full of all the cute or spooky that your heart could desire.

I fear there was some spill over of magic when the Fairy Godmother visited the pumpkin patch. Some of the pumpkins began to grow in a most unusual way. I thought I would share a photo of one of the most peculiarly changed of the pumpkins.
The Peculiar Priscilla Pumpkin Witch
This is Priscilla. The magic spill over gave her arms and legs(though her hands are still very leaf like). She decided that since magic helped make her who she was, that she would become a witch and learn as much about magic as she could.

I am not sure what got spilled out there in the pumpkin patch. It must have been something really strange. Just look what I found when I went out there.
Peli Pumpkin Man
I have to tell you I was quite shocked. I really wonder what combination of things had to happen out there to produce Peli instead of a normal pumpkin. He is really quite sweet with his winning smile and viney arms and legs.
Time for the Close Up
Peli must be pretty shy for him to be able to grow up out in the pumpkin patch without me seeing him until he was all grown up. I hope he makes someone very happy this Halloween.

It is August. The very hottest part of the summer. I am ready for autumn. I know it’s a while until then, but I’m getting started on making Halloween things to make myself feel better. This will be the first year that I’ve done things to sell for a specific holiday. This is my first attempt at a spooky Jack-o-lantern.
